Recent Happenings.....

Well first off, on the seventh I received my learner's permit, mainly
because Mother wouldn't let me put it off any longer, but it wasn't too bad... Then on the twelfth I went exploring in the garden and I found...

Ants invading!
Flaming Sunflowers

Snakes!

The little sweet peas!

Then Monday came... and with Monday came dance class, and I'm still sore! The last of my school books (I think) came on Monday too! Not much happened on Tuesday, except I made ginger snaps and they tasted really good! After I got done making the cookies, Mother laughed at me because I had made a cookie which was roughly 5 inches in diameter, and then I ate the whole thing. It was delicious! Wednesday not much happened , except I finished my old science book. Again nothing happened on Thursday, but today the 17th of September is a very special day. It is the youngest brother's birthday!!!! Today he officially turns 6 and he has been super excited about his birthday since May!

Here's the birthday boy!

About me...

Welcome to Bear Country!

This is the blog of a home-schooling sophomore who has yet to convince her mother that, broken cookies really don't have calories... I am the only girl in a family of four kids, one brother is older and the other two are younger. I have a Pembroke corgi whose picture will be on this blog if I can catch him holding still long enough to take a picture. There are also three other dogs who increase the amount of love in the house by 'recycling' the cardboard that doesn't make it out of the house quite fast enough... So hopefully we will make it through the year safely, happily, and with most of the sanity that we started with!

P.S. Congratulations to everyone who auctioned an animal at the Box Elder County Fair!
